The supply chain starts with our fleet on the fishing grounds. It is the captains and crew who ensure that our catch arrives on-board in perfect condition. Our fishing fleet sustainably harvests wild marine resources using both trawl gear and long-line. Our fleet operates within the Russian exclusive economic zone, fishing zones under national jurisdiction of other states and on the high seas where fishing activities are regulated and managed by regional fisheries management organisations.

OUR OWN FLEET – MORE THAN 40 VESSELS OUR OWN FLEET – MORE THAN 40 VESSELS

Fishing in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans is the core of our business

Harvesting at Norebo is carried out by MTF, RPI, Akros, YAMSy group of companies. With fishing rights in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, Norebo offers its customers a wide selection of seafoods, including the most valuable of groundfish, pelagics, shrimps and squid. To harvest and deliver tailored, quality products for customers, each Norebo fishery has the most suitable and best-equipped vessels to meet its specific needs.

Our fleet comprises more than 40 fully modernised vessels: large trawlers, medium-sized trawlers and longliners. Most of the vessels catch, process and freeze on board. In addition, Norebo has four fresh-fish trawlers that supply the shore-based production in Murmansk.

OVER 100 M LONG LARGE TRAWLERS
LONGLINERS
OVER 60 M MEDIUM SIZED TRAWLERS
With food safety management, based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), in place on all of our vessels, our fleet meets the demands of the leading global markets. The fleet is approved by the European Commission and by the authorities of the People's Republic of China as a supplier of fish products to the European and Chinese markets.
Norebo initiates and participates in projects to minimise the negative impact of bottom trawling on the ecosystems. Since 2014, Norebo in cooperation with Knipovich Polar Research Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography (PINRO) has been implementing a project to develop a modernised bottom trawl gear. The trawl will meet the expectations of fishermen and have less impact on marine ecosystems comparing with a standard bottom trawl.
