Norebo is an international seafood company whose objective is to make available the treasures of the sea to people throughout the world, in order to facilitate good health and wellbeing worldwide.
Founded in 1997, Norebo has expanded its operations globally and is now one of the largest and most reputable harvesters of wild seafood in the world. Our central principles are: ethical standards, sustainability and traceability. We aim to provide a high quality product - just as nature intended, with nothing added and nothing taken away.
Our customers choose from a wide range of seafoods and related products – either produced at sea or onshore. Norebo’s management is multinational and multicultural, and its fishing fleets operate in three of the world’s oceans.
Sustainability and traceability are at the heart of our operation
Norebo invests heavily in initiatives to ensure sustainable and responsible practices in the fishing industry and secure seafood supplies for the future. All products are produced under Norebo’s own brands, and these are recognised worldwide. For over two decades, Norebo has explored new ways to develop and deliver better-quality and fresher-tasting fish, without impacting the environment.
Today, Norebo comprises fishing, trading companies, fish processing factories, canned fish production complex.
Norebo has invested in a significant programme
to renew its fleet
We have invested in a programme to renew our fleet, placing an order for ten modern freezer trawlers. The new vessels, due to be completed within five years, will be better for the environment — with no waste and less use of oil — while also making harvesting more efficient. Each vessel will be equipped with a modern fish-processing plant to produce a variety of products including fillet, mince, roe, liver and fishmeal.
These vessels boast superior design, innovative engineering solutions and high-tech equipment, all of which Norebo deems vital for ensuring high-quality fish processing, the highest levels of safety, and comfortable conditions for the crew.
