Norebo takes notice of the fact that after a one-day investigation, the Norwegian authorities have finished the examination of “Silver Dania” and released the ship and its crew from custody in Tromsø harbour due to the lack of any wrongdoing by any of the involved parties.
This confirms Norebo’s position to only cooperate with international partners that apply the same ethical standards as we do, and that strictly follow international laws and regulations.
The outcome of this case strengthens the trust in our partners’ compliance, and the ability of Norwegian authorities to act in accordance with Norwegian and international law, despite the ongoing hysteria and propaganda in various media outlets.
Norebo support the decision of the Norwegian authorities to release “Silver Dania” without further delay.
